WHEN DOES THE SCHOOL OFFICIALLY OPEN?

The school will open on 9/22/2025. Enrollment and assessments will be communicated with each student at the ISP meeting.

WHAT GRADES/LEVEL WILL THE SCHOOL OFFER INITIALLY?

The school will offer classes to individuals with disabilities that have graduated their normal High School classes.

WHERE IS THE SCHOOL LOCATED?

We are located at 6975 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield | Ohio 45014

WHAT IS THE MISSION AND VISION OF THE SCHOOL?

Our mission is to empower every ability by providing the life and job skills needed to thrive with confidence, independence and dignity. Through personalized support, inclusive opportunities, and strengths-based approach, wefoster growth, self-advocacy, and meaningful community participation for every individual we serve.

WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS?

High School graduate or over 18.

ARE THERE ANY ENROLLMENT FEES OR TUITION?

Yes, our tuition is based on the Medicaid Waiver fee structure.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR ADMISSION?

OR In-person at the school office and through your Service and Support Administrator at your local Development Disabilities office.

IS THERE AN ENTRANCE EXAM OR ASSESSMENT?

Yes, we conduct an assessment using the ABAS-3 to understand each student’s academic level and learning needs.

WHAT CURRICULUM WILL THE SCHOOL FOLLOW?

Our curriculum was written by teachers, enriched with STEM, VR, arts and social-emotional learning.

WHAT CLASSES WILL BE OFFERED?

We will offer both Life skills and Vocational programs at MLPA. Offered classes will include Finance and Budgeting, Technology, Retail Development, Music, Art, Language and Communication, General education, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Custodial Services. Our students will be able to choose up to 4 classes per day.

WHAT SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?

The school is equipped with secure entry systems, surveillance and trained personnel. Regular safety drill will be conducted monthly.

HOW DOES THE SCHOOL HANDLE HEALTH AND WELLNESS?

We follow all DODD health guidelines; we have nurses on staff to assist when needed.
